| Le
Château Moulin Pey-Labrie doit son nom à un très vieux moulin
placé en plein coeur de la prestigieuse appellation " Canon-Fronsac",
et au lieu-dit où se situe le vignoble "Pey" voulant
dire "le haut du coteau". Paul Princeteau en 1860, père
du célèbre peintre animalier et ami de Toulouse-Lautrec, fut propriétaire
du domaine. Actuellement, Bénédicte et Grégoire Hubau apportent
leurs soins attentifs à la culture et à la vinification du domaine.
Originaires du Nord de la France, leur amour et leur passion pour
le vin les a poussés à quitter leurs racines pour venir s'installer
à Moulin Pey-Labrie.
Terrain, cépage,
exposition: voici les clefs qui, associées à l'ensoleillement
et l'hydrométrie composent la qualité du vin du Château Moulin
Pey-Labrie. Son vignoble produit des vins d'une robe très sombre
de cerise noire, au nez corsé et fort généreux avec de beaux tanins
boisés bien fondus, lui assurant une longévité sans égale.

Château
Moulin Pey-Labrie owes its name to a very old mill situated
in the heart of the prestigious Canon-Fronsac appellation
area and to the local name of the place where the vineyard
is planted. "Pey" means " hilltop".
Paul Princeteau, father of the famous animal painter and
personal friend of Toulouse-Lautrec was owner of the estate
in 1860. Today, Bénédicte and Grégoire Hubau lavish attention
on the estate's vines and carefully make its wine. Driven
by their love for and passionate interest in wine, Bénédicte
and Grégoire Hubau left their roots in Northen France
to come and settle at Moulin Pey-Labrie.
Soil type,
grape varieties and orientation: these are the keys, along
with sunshine and rainfall, that make up the quality of
Château Moulin Pey-Labrie wines. These are dark, black
cherry coloured wines, with powerful, very generous bouquets
and fine woody tannins that have mellowed well and make
the wines exceptionally long-keeping. Moulin Pey-Labrie
has enjoyed a special long-established reputation in the
area, that has never been so well deserved as today. |

| Der
Château Moulin Pey-Labrie verdankt seinen Namen einer sehr alten
Mühle, die sich inmitten der hervorragenden Appellation "Canon-Fronsac"
und am Ort mit dem Flurnamen wo sich der Weinberg befindet, erhebt.
"Pey" bedeutet "die Anhöhe". Paul Princeteau,
Vater, des berühmten Tiermalers und Freund von Toulouse-Lautrec,
war im Jahre 1860 Besizter des Gutes. Heute wird dans Weingut
von Bénédicte und Grégoire Hubau bewirtschaftet, die für die Pflege
des Weinbergs und die Weinbereintung grösste Sorgfalt aufwenden.
Ihre Liebe und ihre Begeisterung für den Wein haben diese gebürtigen
Nordfranzosen veranlasst, ihre Heimat zu verlassen und sich in
Moulin Pey-Labrie niderzulassen.
Gelände, Rebsorte,
Lage sind die wesentliche Faktoren, die verbunden mit der Sonnenbestrahlung
und der Hydrometrie die Qualität eines Weines von Château Moulin
Pey-Labrie bestimmen. Der Weinberg bringt Weine hervor mit einer
sehr dunklen kirschroten Farbe, einer körperreichen Nase mit schön
eingebundenen Gerbstoffen, die ihm eine unerreichbare Langlebigkeit
gewährleisten. "Moulin Pey-Labrie geniesst seit jeher in der
Gegend einen besonderen Ruf, der noch nie so verdient war wie
